Meet the individuals who drive our departments, from administration to quality assurance, in our shared quest for exceptional healthcare.

Omer Tamir, Chief Executive Officer

As our CEO, Omer leads with a vision of exceptional healthcare and a commitment to patient-centric service. Originally from the DFW area, Omer obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Colorado University, and a master’s degree in public management with an Allied Health concentration from Indiana University. Over the span of 20 years working in health and wellness, Mr. Tamir has developed an engaging leadership approach through his work in a variety of healthcare fields, including primary care, physical/occupational therapy, dental, and behavioral health. He possesses diverse experience in outpatient, inpatient, and home health settings. Mr. Tamir currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Texas Native Health, overseeing all functions, departments, and the quality of services at the organization.

Richard Goldberg, Chief Financial Officer

With financial acumen, Richard ensures the stability and growth of our healthcare facility.
Richard Goldberg moved to Texas in 2001 from Long Island, NY. He received his BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University, and a Master’s in Geology at the University of Texas at Arlington. Richard brings over 20 years of experience in accounting at various firms and has served the Native American community since 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer for Texas Native Health. His interests include reading books, watching movies, gaming, and traveling.

Adam Shorter, Chief Operations Officer

Adam manages our day-to-day operations, streamlining services for efficiency and patient satisfaction. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Adam is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and has resided in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for most of his life. He attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Adam has been involved in the professional fields of nonprofit development, management, operations, and municipality for over 15 years. Adam serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Texas Native Health and has been a part of the organization since 2021. In his spare time, he enjoys watching the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, International Rugby, and spending time with his family and friends. Adam is passionate about helping those in need and is highly motivated to continue to further support the needs of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Native American Community.

Gabrielle Fajardo, Executive Assistant

Gabrielle Fajardo was born and raised in the DFW area. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Sciences with concentrations in international/regional studies from University of North Texas and is currently working on her herbalism certificate from the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine. She is passionate about working with underserved communities and values the work she can contribute at Texas Native Health. In her free time, Gabrielle enjoys language learning, beading, and cooking.
