POSITION DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Attendant
SUMMARY: The Maintenance Attendant keeps building, suites, and property grounds in clean and working condition. Notifies management concerning needs for major repairs or additions to facilities. Perform ongoing routine facility maintenance and upgrades, as well as installation of new equipment/items.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Empty shred bins, break down boxes, and maintain dumpster enclosure.
- Maintain property, building, and facilities – installing items, painting, plumbing, electrical, and other related maintenance activities, using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Complete weekly/monthly inspections and submit reports to administration in a timely manner.
- Clean trash from property grounds (sidewalk, employee & patient parking lot, dumpster enclosure etc.)
- Wash and stock all medical personnel laundry weekly.
- Sweep/Mop floors and spot clean as needed
- Maintain and sanitize bathrooms as needed throughout the day.
- Assist with the setting up of chairs, tables, and other equipment for meetings and events. Return equipment to storage area after meetings/events.
- Wash windows monthly
- Change light bulbs, ballasts, batteries, etc. as needed
- Assist with deliveries to and from TNH
- Keep maintenance areas and EVS closets in immaculate condition and organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned

MININUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate or equivalent and six months experience
- Must be able to physically perform duties and responsibilities
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads.
